A consortium of European Universities (ARCES, University of Bologna, Italy; DIMES, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands; EPFL-I&C, I & C School, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, Switzerland; IMEP, Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, France; SCD-K.U.Leuven, EE Dept. (ESAT), Faculty of Engineering, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) and Research Institutes (CEA-LETI, Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique, Laboratoire d'Electronique, de Technologie de l’Information, France; IMEC, Interuniversitair Micro-Elektronica Centrum, Belgium) is promoting a highly qualified European Doctorate in Information Technology (EDITH). The aim of the consortium is to provide doctoral training programs for students coming mainly (but not only) from European countries in highly qualified European University and Research Centers working in the fields of Information Technology.
