Interpret - Pattern recognition of tumours using magnetic resonance

Description
- To develop methods for fully automated quantification of the INTERPRET single-voxel spectra for classification purposes. - Initially the methods will be developed for spectra acquired at 136ms, using data acquired for the INTERPRET project. - The suitability of using the output of the quantification procedures for the classifiers will be tested using automated pattern recognition techniques. - Depending on the progress, methods will be then investigated for the spectra acquired at shorter echo times. Work will be carried out in close collaboration with Dr. F. Howe and Dr. A.R. Tate.
