Tim Geboers is from Mol, Belgium. He achieved his Professional Bachelor's (2021) in Electromechanics, climate control at PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and his Master’s degree (2023) in Energy Engineering Technology at UHasselt and KU Leuven. His master’s thesis focused on the design and fabrication of a lab-on-a-chip system with the integration of superparamagnetic nanoparticles for contactless heating applications.
His PhD research will be dedicated to research on the thermal analysis of onboard chargers in electric vehicles to reduce their cost and improve efficiency and power density.
