Bio

Mohamed Yasko obtained a research Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Kocaeli University, where his research focus was on power converters for PV applications. After completing his Master's research, he joined the Power Electronics Team of the ELECTA Research Group at KU Leuven, where he is currently conducting his PhD research. He is working on a VLAIO-funded interdisciplinary project investigating optimal concepts for EV smart charging, including local energy production and storage systems. His main research interests are in electrical energy systems with particular emphasis on EV charging systems architectures, stationary battery integration and higher power charging systems.
