Research – Globally optimal multidimensional system identification: The optimization problems arising from fitting polynomial models can be phrased as systems of polynomial equations. Using the linear algebra tools of the (block-) Macaulay framework, the globally optimal solution can be obtained.

Improving the linear algebra methods for solving polynomial systems: The Macaulay framework relies on the fundamental subspaces of the so-called Macaulay matrix. By exploiting the intricate structure of these matrices, we aim to improve the computational complexity of these algorithms.
