The SIAM Conference on Applied Linear Algebra (LA24) is organized every three years and is one of the premier conferences on applied linear algebra.

From October 2021 till June 2022 we organized a series of seminars about AI and time series. We invited 14 speakers and organized the seminars in a hybrid format whenever regulations permitted, in light of the COVID-19 guidelines.

A new series of seminars, centered around the topics of Bart De Moor’s ERC project Back to the roots of data-driven dynamical system identification.

For the 2021 Flanders AI Research days we organized a workshop with four interactive discussion sessions about research on time series.

The 24th MTNS conference was scheduled to be held in Cambridge in August 2021, but it was cancelled due to anticipated travel restrictions imposed by the covid-19 pandemic. Together with Prof. Bernard Hanzon of University College Cork, Ireland, we organized an invited session centered around shift-invariant subspaces and nD realization theory for solving polynomial equations.

The 2022 ERNSI workshop took place from Sunday 18 September until Wednesday 21 September 2022 at the Irish College in Leuven, Belgium. It was organized by Prof. Bart De Moor and his co-workers.
