Biography:

I obtained the Ph.D. degree in Engineering from KU Leuven in 1997. From 2000 to 2007 I was Research Associate with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, France (Lab. ETIS, Cergy-Pontoise). In September 2007 I joined KU Leuven again as Associate Professor. In 2013 I became Professor and in 2018 Full Professor. I am affiliated with both the Group Science, Engineering and Technology of Kulak and with the Stadius Center for Dynamical Systems, Signal Processing and Data Analytics of the Electrical Engineering Department (ESAT). My research concerns the development of tensor tools for engineering applications.
