ARC 3D Webservice

Conditions

By making use of the webservice, the user agrees to the following terms:

The webservice is intended for non-commercial use only.
The user has made sure that s/he has copyright to all the images uploaded to the service. The user bears the sole responsibility for any legal issues concerning copyright of the original images or the results generated by the webservice.
In no case can ARC or Katholieke Universiteit Leuven be held responsible for possible damages incurred by using the webservice.
Use of the results of the webservice in publications or other forms of dissemination is allowed provided the webservice is acknowledged as follows: "The 3D models are created by the ARC 3D webservice, developed by the VISICS research group of the KULeuven in Belgium". For use of the 3D results in papers, the following reference should be added: Maarten Vergauwen and Luc Van Gool, "Web-Based 3D Reconstruction Service", Machine Vision Applications, 17, pp. 411-426, 2006.
The uploader gives ARC the right to use the results generated by the webservice for its research activities. In particular, the uploader gives ARC the right to use the data for the creation of a 3D repository for the testing and benchmarking of tools. If this right cannot be granted to ARC, please send a mail to the ARC3D team explaining why you would like to be exempted from this part of the agreement.

EXIF data is no longer removed when subsampling the images.
Fixed issue that causes problems when either the scene or sequence names are omitted.

Added a notification system for server status and software upgrades, etc
Added a connection test option to verify the connection to the server
Fixed a memory problem in Windows, which made it impossible to load more than ~30 images

Added support for resuming incompleted uploads. If the upload was cancelled or interrupted, simply select ALL images once more. Images already uploaded will be automatically skipped.
