Fully funded PhD positions are available in the Center for Processing Speech and Images at KU Leuven under the supervision of Prof. Matthew Blaschko. The positions lie at the interface of machine learning and computer vision. The Center for Processing Speech and Images is a highly active research group that regularly publishes in the top conferences in machine learning (ICML, NeurIPS) and computer vision (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV). The working language of the group is English.

Leuven is a historic university city in Belgium 25 minutes from Brussels, boasting a beautiful and safe environment, excellent quality of life, and a lively intellectual atmosphere. Successful candidates will have excellent grades, a passion for science and research, and very good communication and technical skills. A masters degree in computer science, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.
