Leonardo Meeus is research
fellow of the Florence School of Regulation at the European University
Institute in Italy, and visiting professor at the KULeuven
in Belgium.
Leonardo coordinates the EU FP7 Funded Research Project “THINK” that advises
the European Commission (DG Energy) on energy policy (2010-13). He was the
scientific coordinator of the Florence School of Regulation (2008-09) and
of the European Energy Institute at the KULeuven
(2006-08). He was also the Head of Regulatory Affairs for an electricity
interconnector developer in Ireland (2008-09).
Dr. Meeus holds a Master degree in commercial engineering (2002) and
a PhD in electrical engineering (2006), both from the KULeuven
in Belgium.
