Society - Benelux chapter has been formed in 1999.

What role does the IEEE IAS/PELS Chapter see for itself in the Benelux?
- Present a forum to exchange information in the technical fields of the societies.
- Since the chapter forms part of a very large international network the Chapter finds itself in a unique position to convey information on the recent trends in the technical fields.
- Host international speakers. (IEEE Distinguished Lecturers Program)
- Cooperate with societies such as the EPE and EMVT-Vereniging
