INTRODUCTION
One of the goals of the IEEE joint IAS & PELS BENELUX Chapter is to encourage collaboration between researchers, students and industry in the field of electrical power engineering, power electronics and industrial applications. This symposium offers a forum for young researchers to present their first scientific work to each other, senior researchers and interested people from industry in a broad key subject in electrical power engineering. In this way, the presenters can gain useful conference experience, get feedback and lay fruitful contacts .
