Soirée Technique: 3D technology
On Thursday March 3th the IEEE student branch organizes its fifth Soirée Technique. The theme is 3D technology. The intention here is that after this evening we, as engineers, know more about 3D technology than we can read in the papers or an average person in a bar.
After 3D cinema, it won't take a long time before we are watching 3D-television at home. What are the techniques behind this 3D technology? How will 3D be delivered to our living room? What will the future televisions and cinemas look like?
During the Soirée 3D, an answer will be given to all these questions through presentations by Barco, Philips, Visics and Alcatel-Lucent. To give you a taste of the future televisions and cinemas, spectacular demos will be given by these world-class companies.
After the Soirée Technique, there will be a reception for all participants. Participation is free but you are required to register online with the form at the bottom of this page.
