BEST Summer course

Today, hospitals are as it were a huge playground for engineers: X-ray, CT en MRI-scanners, automated breathing and heart-rate monitors, etc. Or what about the robot to do surgery? And think about that new hip prosthesis, etc. It is clear that biomedical engineers are more than necessary in modern society.

Therefore, BEST Leuven (Board of European Students of Technology) organizes a BEST Summer Course on Biomedical Engineering between the 10th and 21st July. 22 technology students from all over Europe will learn more about several topics on biomedical imaging, signal processing, biomechanics, medical prototyping, and so much more. Theory will be diversified with lab sessions and visits to the medical department. This Summer Course will be combined with company visit, social activities and cultural visits. This certainly gives them an exciting experience!
