IEEE Opening Activity 2008-2009

On Wednesday October 29th, the IEEE Student Branch Leuven organizes its opening activity 2008-2009.

In the afternoon, from 12h30 until 17h00, there will be a RC helicopter contest in room 00.62. Not only the most accurate pilots can win such a helicopter, among the participants some of these helicopters will be alotted!

As a side activity you can challenge your colleagues on the sumo-mattress on the ESAT parking

In the evening, starting at 20h00 in Aud A, prof. Vandewalle will talk about what IEEE is and how it can help you in your carreer. IEEE Student Branch Leuven will present the extra benefits it provides for students.

Then we will watch a movie. We still don't know which one it will be because you can choose! In any case, there will be action... And helicopters ofcourse! Fill out the poll with your preference!

The day will be concluded by distributing the prizes of the RC helicopter contest. The winners can test their gear at the reception, where everybody can enjoy a drink!
