Seminar NMDG
On Wednesday April 16th, NMDG NV gives a seminar during lunch break, 12h30-13h30, in room 00.62 at ESAT. There will be sandwiches. Among other things, information will be given about some thesis proposals.
NMDG NV (www.nmdg.be) is a young, dynamic high-tech company offering next-generation characterization and analysis tools and services to a wide range of customers in the high-frequency electronics and communication market. NMDG NV is committed to becoming the market leader in "next-generation characterization and analysis tools" for the high-frequency electronics and communication market. NMDG NV wants to be the preferred partner of engineers who need to improve and accelerate their design and test processes, yet face the challenges of non-linear component behavior.
In this seminar NMDG NV will give an overview about their activities (the products and services) and go deeper in the Large Signal Network Analysis (LSNA) and Measurement technology. A technology which is able to measure the complete voltage and current or incident/reflected wave behavior under small- (S-parameters) and large-signal conditions. The LSNA provides complete and accurate characterization of non-linear devices under realistic operating conditions using one measurement set-up with a single connection. These measurements reveal device characteristics which could not be seen before with other commercially available equipment. A case study shows some of the capabilities of the LSNA.
NMDG NV will also present two thesis subjects. Design of a power amplifier with classic and new techniques and the Self-consistent phase calibrator. Two thesis subjects who introduce you in the world of the nonlinearities.
Program
- The company NMDG NV, an overview about there activities around there products and services.
