90nm CMOS - A new era for analog design?!

Logo AnSem On Wednesday February 22, 2006 AnSem (www.ansem.com) gives a seminar wherein they will introduce themselves and will give a technical discussion on one of the activities they do best. AnSem designs advanced microchips where it specializes in the analog design of RF CMOS, high speed data communications data acquisition and low power and low voltage applications.

During this seminar, Stefan Gogaert, CEO, will present AnSem and will comment on the economical activities of AnSem.

Jan Crols, CTO, will give a more detailed discussion on AnSem's expertise in high speed data communications. He will comment on how AnSem succeeded in doing pioneering work in SerDes applications using their initial expertise on RF CMOS.

The SerDes IP blocks that were designed cover the entire spectrum from 155Mbit/s to 10Gbit/s for applications such as Gigabit Ethernet, XAUI and PCI-Express. These analog building blocks are designed in the most recent technologies ranging from 0,18µm CMOS to 90nm CMOS.

One of AnSem's design engineers will discuss the 90nm XAUI-chip, demonstrating the eye diagram of a high speed datalink.

This seminar will take place in auditorium A from 19h30 until 21h00 (at esat). Afterwards, you are invited to a reception for a snack and a drink, where there is the possibility for further discussion with the people of AnSem.
