Visit to VRT

The IEEE Student Branch Leuven and the department of electrical engineering (ESAT) organize a visit to VRT. This visit is aimed at the students that chose electrical engineering as a major or minor subject. It will take place on Thursday Febrary 17. We will all meet between 13h00 and 13h15 at ESAT. At precicely 13h15 we will leave at ESAT.. We will be back around 17h30.

Besides the standard tour we managed to get a special technical tour in the radio and television department. In total the tour will take about 2,5 hours. The program is as follows:

• Tour at the television department (1h)
• Tour at the radio department (30min)
• VRT Nieuws.net (30min)
• Tour at transmission (with visit to the ‘tower’) (30min)

Following the company visit we will have a snack and drink at the electrical engineering department. This will be in room 00.57, right across auditorium A

Both the visit and the drink are free.
