Thursday November 4, 2004 IEEE Student Branch Leuven announced the winners of our local Student Paper Contest 2004. This year we could send 2 papers to the Region 8 Student Paper Contest, so there are also 2 winners for our local contest. These winners were selected by our international review committee:
- First Prize
Elke De Mulder and Pieter Buysschaert, "Electromagnetic Analysis Attack on an FPGA Implementation of Elliptic Curve Ctyptosystem" - Second Prize
Jorg Daniëls, "Continuous Time Digital Filters for Decimation Purposes in Low Power Signal Processing Circuits"
The first prize paper received a gift certificate worth 100€, the second prize paper one for 50€. Both papers will be representing the K.U.Leuven in the Region 8 Student Paper Contest. You can follow the status of the international contest on the website of the IEEE Region 8 Student Paper Contest.
