On March 9 and 23, 2005 the IEEE Student Branch, in cooperation with Ulyssis, ISW and L2U, organizes workshops where you can familiarize yourself with the use of the Linux operating system. The first workshop (March 9) specifically addresses Windows users that would like to switch to Linux. There will be explained how you can accomplish the same things you are doing in Windows. If you just intalled Linux on your computer and now you don't really know how to go on, this workshop is the ideal opportunity to get yourself started. In the second workshop (March 23) we will go a little further: what other things can you do with Linux compared to Windows. So this workshop is also interesting for the more experienced Linux user.

Both workshops are held at the departement Rega of the KHLeuven. (route description). The first workshop takes place from 19h30 until 22h00, the second workshop from 18h30 until 20h30. Because there is only a limited number of computers available for this hands-on workshop, the nimber of registrations is limited to 100. If you are interested, please register as soon as possible for each workshop (see below).
