It is a tradition that, in the year that they will graduate, the engineering students make a trip for two weeks to a country far away. My predecessors visited countries like South-Africa, Mexico, China, ...  In 2002, it was finally our turn and we decided to go to Thailand. This was the first time that I visited Asia (and probably, it won't be the last time). Thailand is a very beautiful country and it is almost impossible to impress this beauty by the correct words. Because one picture says more than 1000 words, here are some impressions of our visit to Thailand (because it are a lot of photos (made by Carolien Coenen), I have split it up in two parts).
