BioSCENTer - Doctoral school course Life Sciences Tech Watch
BioSCENTer
Following the well-appreciated lectures at our BioSCENTer Launch Event (see Launch for more details) by some Chief Technologists of several Core Facilities at our university, a first BioSCENTer Graduate School course on 'Technology Watch for the Biological and Biomedical Sciences' will be organized starting on September 30th 2009.
BioSCENTer will offer a top notch Technology-Watch course that will include a bird’s eye perspective on several rapidly evolving technologies, including technologies for transcriptomics (microarrays), proteomics, genomics, imaging, bio-informatics, supercomputing and several others.
This course is for all doctoral students biology, bio-engineers, bio-informaticians and biomedical students interested in biotechnology and life sciences and will provide an introduction to each of these technologies following a fixed template.
