Who am I?
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the COSIC research group in ESAT, KU Leuven. My main research interests are countermeasures against physical attacks, and designs and hardware implementations of lightweight symmetric-key algorithms.
I completed my PhD in a joint program at KU Leuven (Belgium) and UTwente (the Netherlands) with the supervision of Svetla Nikova, Vincent Rijmen, and Pieter H. Hartel. My dissertation is entitled "Threshold Implementations: As Countermeasure Against Higher-Order Differential Power Analysis".
I obtained my bachelor's degree in mathematics from Middle East Technical University, Turkey in 2008. In 2010, I received my master's degree in cryptography under the supervision of Ali Doğanaksoy with a thesis on generating functions and their applications.
